Despite national inflation numbers that run between 8% and 9% many Myrtle Beach city homeless say drugs are still affordable in several locations throughout the city.
“I am still able to get Fentanyl for as little as $8 a pill,” says Myrtle Beach regular Harry The Homeless.
The best areas, inside the city, to get cheap drugs is something Harry is known for.
“I would say Yaupon and Flagg Streets are still among the best locations,” said Harry. “But you have to be careful, someone is always popping a cap in someone’s @ss down there,” said Harry.
Cheeseburger Lisa confirmed Harry’s concerns.
There are approximately 3,500 homeless people in the City of Myrtle Beach. Such large numbers are certain to create a supply/demand problem just ahead.
These coming problems could affect future prices for the homeless in the city.
Myrtle Beach is nationally known as an affordable city.
When housing, food, gas, taxes, and pay are taken into consideration, however, Myrtle Beach is one of the most expensive cities in America.
