Step into any beachwear store in Myrtle Beach and you will see them: rows and rows of seashell necklaces. But what do you think, are seashell necklaces trendy or tacky?

If you’ve ever been to Myrtle Beach, you’ve probably bought one. I’m pretty sure I’ve bought more than 5 of them in my lifetime. There is something about seashell necklaces that makes you feel like you have taken the beach home with you. They come in every size, color and design imaginable  I see guys, girls, kids buying seashell jewelry, but do people ever wear it once they go home? I don't think I've ever actually seen someone wearing those necklaces? Is it something that is only acceptable at the beach?
