I wrote my name in the sand today…just because. I made it big. I dug deep to make every letter count. I’m not really sure I why I did, but I think I heard the ocean tell me to. I stood back in the surf and admired my work. It made me smile to see passersby read it, and with respect for my name, walk around it. I sat near by in the sand and watched the tide creep in, one rolling wave at at a time. It didn’t upset me that my name would be washed away…I decided it was the ocean’s way of bringing me into it. It made me happy…just because.
