Myrtle Beach landed on SmarterTravel.com’s top-ten lineup of “America’s Best Beach Eats,” touting rich, luscious, handmade fudge! The online nod  zeroed in on The Fudgery that has locations at Barefoot Landing, Broadway At The Beach and Tanger Outlets.

Ranking right up there with Nathan’s Famous Hot Dogs of Coney Island fame, lobster rolls on the coast of Maine, Hawaii’s shaved ice and deep fried twinkies from Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, a stop at The Fudgery was endorsed by the site as “a Carolina must-do.”

SmarterTravel was  impressed with the shop’s liberal sample giveaways, the family-fun vibe and personal interaction with The Fudgery crew as they cook and croon to customers.
