Moon Alert!

“Moon Alert.” Those two little words send me scrambling for my car keys and heading straight to the beach. A dear friend and I have used those code words for years, meaning that the evening sky will be headlined by a huge, glowing orange moon, that‘s simply too stunning for words. To stand before it’s magnificence as it hovers over the coastline at nightfall is to witness nature’s true majesty. I consider that moon to be one of Myrtle Beach’s greatest treasures and it is a personal goal of mine to witness-in-awe every one of them I can for the rest of my natural life.
