Why Can’t Everyday Be Like This?

Elissa Jarvis, Lead Reporter Wednesday, June 27, 2012

80 degree weather, the cool ocean breeze blowing through my hair, the warm beach waves lapping at my feet, a fruity drink in my hand and three of my closest friends- why can’t everyday be like this?

When you live in Myrtle Beach, getting to the beach becomes an exercise in time-management. Sure the ocean might only be two miles away but we still have to go to work and run errands like everyone else. This is why when my friends and I can manage to get a day off together, we gather up our beach chairs, favorite beverages and spend the day lying out on the beach like everyone else. We might not have to rent a hotel room to do it, but we aren’t that different from the tourists.

If you aren’t as lucky to live in Myrtle Beach as the locals, that doesn’t mean you can’t come spend a couple days soaking in the Myrtle Beach Sun. Check out Crown Reef Resort; they are a beach front property with all rooms have an oceanfront view with a private balcony. They also have 20 different pools in case you get tired of the sand and would prefer to lounge poolside.

So do you wish everyday could be like this?
