Why Kids Need a Nap on Vacation

Jana "Banana" Thornton Monday, June 18, 2012

Kids need a nap on their Myrtle Beach vacation because without it they turn from happy beachy kids to cranky gremlins. Trust me on this...I have raised three kids. They also need to get  those little bodies "de-sanded" with a pre-nap shower...and  more importantly their grown-ups need to recharge their batteries, too!  A long day in the sun makes everyone a little sleepy, and a good nap gives everyone a great energy for a night out!

There is so much to choose from! Take the kids to a Pelican's Game, see the Sky Wheel lit up in it's evening lights, watch a show at the Hot Summer Nights at Plyer Park at the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk (a new one every night!), hop over to Market Commons for their outdoor Movies Under the Stars on Wednesdays- or the Myrtle Beach Speedway on Wednesdays for the Wheels of Destruction, the new Hawaiian show in Surfside called Aloha, Y'All!, Coca Cola Summer Nights at Broadway at the Beach...that's just a small smidgen of all the great activities your family will enjoy after 5pm. To see what's going on in your family vacation spot, Myrtle Beach, check out our Events Calendar, click on the date on the small calendar on the left for your exact vacation dates.

Be sure to check back often, new events are being added daily!
