Finding Home
David Hucks Monday, May 21, 2012

Each one of us is born into this world with an insatiable hunger.
I believe our Spirits are wiser than we are. Every Human Spirit searches until it finds the one, true place that it can call HOME. That place is often as individual as we are, but we know when we have found it, because it is there that we find peace, purpose, rest, and meaning. Home is the place that adopts us.
Despite how we each begin in life, every human being hopes to be adopted into a place he or she can call home.
And when life ends, in the presence of an all knowing God, knowledge will surely no longer be required. Money will be obsolete. And, even, faith will no longer be necessary. It is HOME that will remain. Home with those we have adopted and those who have adopted us.
Since relationships are all that we can really take into eternity, relationships are all that matter. Let us be about the work that matters most.
