Happy Mother’s Day to all the Mom’s who brought us to the beach! Thank you for packing our lunches. Thank you for carrying us when the sand was too hot for our little feet. Thank you for hugging us even when it got sand stuck to your suntan oil. Thank you for worrying when we were straying too far from your view, and for yelling when we were wading too deep. Thank you for knowing what to do when a jellyfish stung us. Thank you for holding our hands and jumping the waves. Thank you for helping build sand castles. Thank you for being patient when we didn’t want to pick up our beach toys when it was time to leave. Thank you for not minding sand in the car, and protecting our prized shells. Thank you for walking on Springmaid Beach Pier with us. Thank you for loving us enough to know that our memories of going to the beach would always be happy ones. We love you, Mom...today, and every day.
