Looking for something to do on Fat Tuesday? Don’t worry Myrtle Beach gets down Mardi Gras style! Restaurants at both Barefoot Landing and Broadway at the Beach are holding Fat Tuesday parties today. Dick’s Last Resort at Barefoot Landing is holding their 20th Anniversary Platinum Celebration Annual Mardi Gras Parade! The parade starts at 5 and will snake its way around Barefoot Landing while people toss out beads and candy. The parade will end at Dick’s Last Resort where they will be having a Mardi Gras party. The event is approved for all-ages.
For a more adults only bash, Fat Tuesday, a nightclub at Broadway at the Beach, is hosting their annual Mardi Gras party. There will be a live broadcast by rock station WKZQ-FM 96.1 and all kinds of giveaways including a prize from Budweiser. Fat Tuesday’s Mardi Gras party has been an annual tradition since the club opened in mid-1990s.
