Want to be on a Hit TV Show?

Ever wanted to see yourself on television? How about on a hit TV show? Hit HBO show Eastbound & Down filmed their third season here last July. The show follows former Major League Baseball player Kenny Powers as he tries to climb his way back up to the top.  In the third and final season of the show, Kenny Powers is back pitching for minor league baseball and he plays for the fictional Myrtle Beach Mermen. The show is expected to illustrate aspects of life in Myrtle Beach.

Apparently producers didn’t get all the shots they needed when they were here over the summer and into fall, so the film crews will be back on February 20th and 21st to do some follow up work and the show needs extras. No word yet if Danny Mcbride or Matthew McConaughey will be back to shoot follow up scenes.
