The Horry County police department will be taking off their clothes for a very cold shower in February. The police are planning their annual polar bear plunge, where people run into the freezing cold ocean, for February 4th at 2 p.m. The event is being held at the Springmaid Beach Pier and it will be 50 dollar for a plunge in the ocean, but there will also be events and food if people would just like to watch. Proceeds will be going to the S.C. Special Olympics, and more than 500 people are expected to take the plunge.
So are you ready to run into freezing cold water?
