Myrtle Beach Airport Gets New Options

Elissa Jarvis, Lead Reporter Sunday, January 15, 2012

The Myrtle Beach airport is getting a few new upgrades in the coming years.  The airport is currently under construction as a new terminal is being built that is supposed to house seven new airport gates.

Furthermore, Divine Dining Group is building two new restaurants in the same terminal. Divine Dining owns and operates several local restaurants in the Grand Strand area including River City Café and Ultimate California Pizza. They will be putting a brand new Nacho Hippo and a Bubba’s Fish Shack in the new expanded airport.  Both restaurants already have loyal followings at their current locations in Market Common and Surfside Beach respectively, and aren’t likely to close when the airport locations open.  The airport is also going to be adding a Dunkin Donuts and Steak N Shake to the new terminal, giving hungry tourists and locals the chance to eat during layovers or before leaving the airport.

So what kind of food do you want before a flight?
