Spring Is In the Air

It might not officially be spring for another 70 days, but it certainly feels that way in Myrtle Beach! With temperatures hovering in the upper 60s for the next week or so, it feels like a gorgeous spring day here! Except for the cold spell that made Myrtle Beach feel like the arctic last week, temperatures have been running about 12 degrees higher than average this year, making it a fairly warm winter.

Myrtle Beach locals seem to love it too. More golfers have been populating the putting greens in the last week. Tons of people have been hitting the beach every morning to take a run. Even I’ve been taking my dogs on longer walks trying to bask in the warm sunshine and cool breeze of spring air, even though it’s January. Honey bees have been seen buzzing around my apartment complex, a sure sign that spring is in fact in the air. All signs point to spring being right around the corner.
