Cupcake Wars Bakery Comes to Myrtle Beach

Love cupcakes? Myrtle Beach is getting a new high-end cupcake shop! Coccadotts Cake shop is opening up a store right here in Myrtle Beach. Coccadotts is an Albany, NY based cake shop that competed on an episode of Food Network’s hit show Cupcake Wars. Coccadotts offers cupcakes like:
- Sex N’ City - almond cake with a layer of European raspberry and iced with white chocolate buttercream
- Maple Bacon-maple cupcake, iced with cinnamon buttercream and topped with crispy bacon.
- Brown Chicka Brownie -A brownie on the bottom, topped with fudge then topped with vanilla cake, iced with vanilla buttercream, drizzled with chocolate buttercream and topped with chocolate chips.
The new cake shop will be located in the Sayebrook shopping area near the intersection of S.C. 544 and U.S. 17 Bypass, close to where the new Target is being built. The store is set to open March 1st. Besides making 30 different types of cupcakes, Coccadotts does an assortment of cakes including tiered wedding and event cakes. They will soon be launching an online dessert builder, where a customer can pick their own cake flavor, filling and frosting with the click of a button and order without every stepping foot in a store!
