Thousands of people come to Myrtle Beach every summer for vacation, but are more people coming as a family vacation or to party?

Arguments can be made for both cases. Myrtle Beach has always been considered one of the best family vacation spots in the country. Between the beaches, the (former) amusement parks, dozens of shows and attractions, Myrtle Beach is definitely kid friendly.  On the flip side, it’s also considered one of the best party towns in the country. Hundreds of high school and college students come every spring break to get tan, get drunk and hit the clubs. Downtown Myrtle Beach is rife with night clubs, tattoo parlors and strip clubs. It seems whatever reason you want to come, Myrtle Beach has you covered.
