Freestyle Music Park to Reopen?

Love amusement parks and wish there was still one in Myrtle Beach? Freestyle Music Park may reopen its doors as early as this summer!

After being closed for almost 3 years and lots of legal wrangling, there are rumors that Freestyle Music Park might open this summer. The property owners, FPI US, have been searching for new buyers or operators to back the project with the goal of reopening in summer 2012. Attorneys for FPI say they have several groups interested in the project, but that they would need to come on-board quickly to have the park up and running in time. FPI still believes that Freestyle Music Park can be successful in Myrtle Beach, even though it has failed twice before.
