70 degrees in Myrtle Beach at Christmas?
Elissa Jarvis, Lead Reporter Saturday, December 17, 2011
Forget having a white Christmas, Myrtle Beach is in the middle of a heat wave! With temperatures hitting the 70s this weekend and continuing into next week, it’s looking to be a warm winter in Myrtle Beach this year. The forecast is still out for Christmas Day, and while the weather is good it’s unlikely to hit the record high of 80 degrees set in 1932. Still a 70 degree December doesn’t sound too bad to me. The weather is nice enough to play outside or even go golfing. Sure, there are some people dreaming of a white Christmas but I don’t think it’s happening this year.
So which would you prefer: a white Christmas or a warm Christmas?
