Who Has The Best Happy Hour Hotspot?

Elissa Jarvis, Lead Reporter Monday, December 12, 2011

Love discounted food and alcohol? Who doesn’t? Which is why at least once a week, you will catch me and several of my friends hitting up happy hour at one Myrtle Beach restaurant or another. But who’s got the best happy hour in town?

The best bang for my buck is going to be Flying Fish Public Market and Grill in Barefoot Landing. They have several $5 sushi rolls, and a ton of other reasonably priced dishes like buffalo shrimp, crab fritters and hush puppies. Plus $2.50 local beers and $3 liquor is a steal. Plus Sushi Chef Kevin Morphis has to make the prettiest sushi around (pictured left).

If I’m not in the mood for seafood, then you’ll likely find me at Handley’s in Carolina Forest. Huge servings of nachos and quesadillas are super cheap and Handley’s always has something going on. They have team bingo on Wednesday nights and team trivia on Thursdays and nothing is better than a little competition while you drink.

So where is your favorite happy hour hotspot?
